Wars, insecurity, and poverty are the bane of most nations in sub-Saharan Africa and underdeveloped nations, and women and children always bear the brunt of these conflicts.

White Dove Women Alliance for Peace Security and Development (WAPSED)

WAPSED exists to advocate for peace and security in our communities, in our nation, in our continent, and in our world. We exist to help people achieve economic empowerment with a special focus on women and youth. We believe that given an enabling environment, people can live productive lives and contribute positively to the development of society.

For many children and youth in underdeveloped countries, poverty, lack of quality education and limited economic access equals a lifetime of poverty. We need to work together to create a better future for them.

Our mission is to promote peace and security through advocacy and to promote economic self-sufficiency through education, vocational training, and support services.

At WAPSED we advocate, we educate, we train, we feed, we support, and we care.
