Imagine a world where peace reigns, imagine a world where there is safety, imagine a world where all citizens have equal access to economic sufficiency. Imagine…
Peace, security and economic empowerment are the three most important factors in nation building. With all three in place the citizens of a nation can have access to quality education, gainful employment, good housing, and access to clean water and renewable energy. Peace, security and economic empowerment in turn increases productivity and engender national development.
But today that is not what we see in our nation, in our continent and in our world. What can we, as individuals and groups, do to change our world starting from our communities? That is the question that brought about the creation of White Dove Women Alliance for Peace Security and Development (WAPSED). We believe our world can be better, our continent can grow, our nation can achieve development and people can achieve their individual goals and visions.
WAPSED exists to advocate for peace and security in our communities, in our nation, in our continent and in our world. We exist to empower people to achieve economic empowerment with special focus on women and youth. We believe that given an enabling environment of peace and security, people can live productive lives and contribute positively to the development of the society.
White Dove Women Alliance for Peace Security and Development is a membership based Non-Profit Organization, with the objective of promoting peace, and security, and empowering women and youth so they can fully participate in national development. We also provide welfare services and free education to orphaned and vulnerable children and other underserved groups.
At WAPSED we advocate, we educate, we train, we feed, we support and we care.
